MapMyShots was born from a simple question: "Where exactly were all my photos taken?" I tried several applications, but most were either too complicated, required an account, or wanted to upload everything to the cloud. All I wanted was a map. So I built one. MapMyShots scans your photo folders, reads the EXIF metadata stored in your pictures, and uses GPS coordinates to place them on a world map. Everything stays on your computer: your photos remain where they are, and the database is stored locally. No accounts. No subscriptions. No cloud. Just your photos, on a map.
